1 final present neath the Christmas tree waiting to be unwrapped (it’s not socks!)
The Christmas dinner is done. Belts are let out many notches. The 3am carnage of kids getting up to find Santa’s visited is now over. Headache pills digested. Recycling bins bursting with shredded wrapping paper.
And for the really organised… items identified for re-gifting next year(!) – I’m shocked you did not like the Filofax inserts and gift socks set I sent!!
We made it folks!
Except we didn’t. Not quite anyway. In our house, we have a tradition of one last present saved under the Christmas tree. It’s called the Christmas Tree present – great tradition, unimaginative name – but I’m too full of turkey trimmings to be creative, okay? It has one purpose this solitary gift – to bring a ray of joy and hope when everyone thinks Christmas and the spirit of giving is over.
Mapleleaf Vision special present to you…
So, in keeping with this family tradition, on Wednesday 28th December at 4pm, Mapleleaf Vision is going to bring you the Christmas Tree present.
Follow the Mapleleaf Vision blog if you don’t want to miss a ray of joy and hope.
Happy Boxing Day everyone, thank you for joining me.
