It shouldn’t need to be the question – but it is.
And if you work in schools, you will understand exactly what I mean.
For most professionals, having to consider carefully whether or not you take a comfort break is just not a thing.
You cannot simply leave the class and go. You are usually too busy in so-called breaks because you are either on break duty (i.e., you watch everyone else have a break) or trying to get the next lesson ready to “hit the ground running” the moment pupils come in from break.
If you go now, the transition between lessons is not “ready” but if you don’t go now, you don’t know when your next opportunity might be.
It sounds completely insane.
Yes, that’s the reality of the job, too.
