April 2022
When Mapleleaf Vision was launched (22 April), I had ZERO social media presence and no website. I had enjoyed a life of total anonymity. Things were going to have to change! What I had was a clear vision, a logo and a whole lot of courage to step into the unknown.
May 2022
First clients arrived 6-months earlier than I predicted in my business plan. As with many new coaching business owners, it was a hourly rate pay as you go set-up. I quickly learned this was not sustainable. With 14 years coaching experience, I recognised the need for investing in Business Start-Up Mentoring – a big commitment to make but I went “all in” anyway.
June 2022
Launch of a new mini coaching package after much market researching and testing… now I needed to learn to create sales and marketing content of my own. And I was still largely invisible – which meant so was Mapleleaf Vision! Early posts reach: 50, engage: 0.
July-Aug 2022
Clients “graduate” and without suitable “presence” Mapleleaf Vision hits a lean period. I discover a passion for copywriting; by mid-July, posts start daily. I have 107 followers. By end of August, there are 407 followers.
Sept 2022
Website is launched after months of painstaking designing, decision-making and creating – it was formed from scratch. New life coaching programme and career coaching launch brings new clients… and they kept coming.

Mapleleaf Vision grows and diversifies. CV services are introduced following professional CV skill development as a freelance writer.

Mapleleaf Vision goes international, delivering CV workshops overseas following being a podcast guest. A comprehensive range of products ensures clients achieve 100% success.

With only 6 places available in any given month, coaching spaces fill quickly as clients receive lots of personalised attention to transition from being stuck at a crossroads to finding their right path. All Mapleleaf Vision clients are in new jobs they LOVE!
Despite the risks of setting up a new business in economic uncertainty, Mapleleaf Vision has month on month growth.
I have learned so much over the past year from successful business start-up, marketing, copywriting, sales, branding, website design, coding… the list goes on. But I would not be here had it not been for the brilliant support of my networks, amazing clients and a lot of personal hard work, unlimited belief and determined grit.
