  1. Repeatedly doing the same thing results in a habit. Habits form regardless of whether they are good or bad. Ingrained habits are hard to break. If you form a habit of doing nothing, even when it is clear action needs to be taken, you will never change.
  2. Fear of change is normal. It can also always be overcome. People who take decisive action are still feeling that normal fear – the only difference is that take the steps anyway. And when you are taking action, fear subsides because it’s in your head.
  3. Not the right time? Here’s the thing. Time is just time. It is not right or wrong. You cannot blame time for being inanimate. Time is shaped only by how you prioritise – it is your decision whether you prioritise change or not. You are accountable for how time in your life is being spent. If not now, then when? No, really – WHEN?
  4. Because you deserve to be happy. Your family members deserve to see you be the person you know you could be – if only you can get past 1, 2, 3. Because being in a job that you love is incredible. It aligns with all the best things about you. It brings success. It makes you happy. It makes those who love you happy that your life is fulfilled doing work that matters to you.
