3 things you can do immediately to avoid hating your job.

The alarm clock is ringing. You sink deeper under the duvet as the dread of another working day crushes down like a dead-weight.

It doesn’t have to be like this.

Stop. Get up. Pay attention.

Here’s 3 things you can do right now to stop hating your job.

  1. Do something about it. Take action right now. The action starts with a decision – you have to decide that you want to find a new career path. It won’t decide for you. You can make that active choice right here immediately. You can take control.
  2. Start to put together an exit plan. Most people cannot just leave without an income to go to – if you can, why are you still there? But you can work out your bottom-line of what you need to generate to pay the essential bills.
  3. Book a free discovery call to find out more about how coaching can help you – consider all the options available to you (both the known and undiscovered) and then make a final decision of which route you want to take to find a job you love.

Hiding away from the problem is not going to solve it, no matter how “broken” you feel. Yes, you will need to summon up your courage. You need to put on your “grown up” pants and be brave.

Because we both know what the alternative is….

No action. No change.

Professional

I first worked with Will whilst I was a junior member of a teaching team. I worked closely with him for around three years and he became a true mentor to me. During this time Will helped encourage me to discover my own leadership style and he mapped out what it takes to be successful. I highly recommend Will for life and career coaching.

Will is a professional, natural leader who manages to make you feel at ease. He manages to be both emphatic and encouraging, whilst also managing to challenge you to find your own answers. Will’s approach is totally non-judgmental and the sessions are really focused on you and on what you want to achieve. Working with Will has allowed me to address challenges I was facing and he brought a wealth of resources and practical tools to help me set goals, clarify my values, and explore avenues right away. Even though I left teaching 5 years ago, I still seek out Will for his help and guidance and I appreciate his versatility as a thought partner, ally, and coach. Our sessions are always productive and efficiently run, which is perfect for someone who is juggling many priorities! Will brings great communication, professionalism and quality to his work and I highly recommend him as a life/business coach.
